In today's society, the demands of healthy living and social welfare have increased, This department consists of two majors, Nursing Science and Social Welfare. The Nursing Science major fosters professionals who are ready for the promotion of health, disease prevention, recovery and pain relief. The Social Welfare major fosters a social welfare expert who can solve diverse welfare needs based on professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

1. Nursing major

   The science of nursing aims to enhance the quality of life including prevention of illness, maintenance/promotion/recovery of health over the entire course of life from birth to death. This should be practiced in a spirit of love. The Faculty of Nursing at Hansei has established sisterhood relationships with over 20 general and specialist hospitals including Korea University Medical Center, Korea University Ansan Hospital, Inje University Seoul Paik Hospital, National Police Hospital and Sejong General Hospital.

2. Social Welfare major

   In majoring in social welfare, we aim to understand the problems of modern society, to meet the needs of our society, and to foster professional experts who have acquired professional knowledge and skills. It provides a variety of educational courses, including 10 compulsory subjects required for social welfare, and a certificate of qualification for fitness programs for health professionals. After graduation, you will be able to go to a school, a hospital, or a medical institution providing a welfare foundation or social welfare institution.
